Financial Hardship Assistance

At in1bank our focus is to always lend responsibly, however, we understand that circumstances can change. We will always attempt to provide mortgage/loan relief options to provide the best outcome. If you are having a challenging period, that’s impacting your finances, let us know as soon as possible. We understand the reasons which could be loss of employment, injury or illness, relationship breakdown, natural disaster or loss of a loved one.

in1bank will work with you or your authorised representative (should you prefer this option) to work through a variety of solutions which may include:

  • Deferred loan repayments on all commitments
  • Reduced loan repayments
  • Convert Principal and Interest repayments to Interest only (for an agreed period and interest rate)
  • Consolidating or restructuring existing loans
  • Extending loan terms
  • Early termination of Term Deposits

Any customer wishing to discuss their financial situation should contact our Customer Support Team on 1300 461 226. Alternatively, you can complete the following Financial Hardship form, and we will contact you as requested. We will aim to contact you within 5 business days. We may ask for supporting information to help us understand your situation. Once we have sufficient information, you will receive a written outcome within 21 days of your request (as required under the National Credit Code).
